Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was once a supermodel is a film director. Her elegant beauty and her success in the film industry reflect her talents as an actor. Her career began as a model in the 70s, and quickly became one of the top models. She was a theatre and acting student towards the beginning of the decade. She then appeared on stages in Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Her first screen appearance was in ABCs 1988 drama Sable In the show, she played Eden Kendell. In her debut film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. The critics, initially unconvinced of her performance skills, were eventually won over by her continuous performance. Her most adored performance by critics was in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she stood her own against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. However by her own admission she's never really been a passionate in acting. In 2005, she decided to take a long, self-imposed pause. In 2006, she made a return with Thor. She also starred in her husband's Oscar Award-winning movie Nightcrawler. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two fun films where she was a part of the cast.
Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's top female athletes. Her professional journey began as an amateur athlete participating in various regional promotion before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And after that, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her success in and out in the Octagon has turned her into a household brand since she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas was born on June 29th, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose participated in many games as a youngster such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was her debut professional bout. She was just 18 and had won two by submission. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was signed to UFC's strawweight category in the month of December, 2014 when Rose was only 22. Rose was a high-flyer but she's also had lows in her career, yet she has always come out on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. She was awarded the Women's Strawweight Championship and also won Fighter of The Night. This was the first time a woman competed against a major promotion in a title fight. After this win, Namajunas continued to win more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
